¡@¡@As the industry of Chinese Medicine is growing rapidly throughout the world, the ¡§World Congress of Chinese Medicine, Macau 2008¡¨ is going to be held from 14 to 17 October 2008 at the Venetian Macau - Resort-Hotel. This congress is jointly organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and the Macau Association of Chinese Medicine. Theme of the congress will be ¡§Continuity of Development and Mission of Chinese Medicine¡¨.
¡@¡@The study of Chinese Medicine is a treasure of traditional culture of Chinese for the past millenniums. Its unique theory system together with numerous clinical practices has played a key role of improving the health and illness prevention of mankind. In accordance with the development of modern health care technology, Chinese Medicine, not only functions as prevention of illness, but shows the ability of helping life to be strengthened. Scientists from all over the world contribute their efforts to research, develop and make use of Chinese Medicine, in order to bring new hope for the health of mankind. The updated results of research and development, discussion about modernization, internationalization and industrialization of Chinese Medicine, strengthening inter-cooperation, will definitely stimulate the development of Chinese Medicine Industry. Macau is a beautiful small town along the south-east coastline of China. It is a unique tourists¡¦ hot pick with southern European atmosphere. With more than four hundred years, where the culture of the East meets the West harmonically, numerous precious historical heritage has been left here.
